Feet First Soccer is excited to be back at Promise Preschool! We really look forward to seeing your child each week at class. Below is the weekly schedule for soccer students

Coaching Staff

Coach Kali is the Springfield Director and will be the head coach for your child's Feet First Soccer class. She is excited to be partnering with Promise Preschool and look forward to having your child in class!

Coach Kali

Originally from Houston, Texas, Kalissa now calls Springfield home. She has played soccer for most of her life and transitioned to a coaching position with Upstart Athletics in 2019. Since graduating from Kickapoo High School, Kalissa has been working with and around children and has a passion for non-profit organizations and volunteer work. She is lovingly known as Coach Kali on the soccer field where she is a “fan favorite.” Even though Kalissa now holds the position of Springfield Director, she is still very engaged with the Upstart Athletics kids and families. Outside of the soccer world, she enjoys spoiling her four pets and working on all kinds of art projects.

Feet First Class FAQs

WHAT IS FEET FIRST CLASS AT SCHOOL?

Feet First Soccer classes are designed to maximize MVPA (moderate to vigorous physical activity) during your child's school day. This helps them perform better in school and is a welcomed break from their normal routines. Our trained coach comes to your child's school once per week and leads a fun & engaging 30-minute soccer class.

DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING ANYTHING FOR FEET FIRST CLASS?

Nope! Your coach will come prepared with all of the needed gear for a fun & engaging soccer class. The only request is that your child wear comfortable clothes on Feet First days. No special clothes, shoes or gear is needed.

WHO WILL BE COACHING MY CHILD?

Coach Kali will be leading the classes. See above to find out more about her.

WHAT WILL MY CHILD BE DOING IN FEET FIRST CLASS?

Your child will go on imaginative adventures while learning real soccer skills. Each child will have a soccer ball at their feet for the entire class. Great! The next step is registering for the ongoing regular classes. You may do so by clicking here. You only need to sign up once and your account will be automatically billed each month. You can cancel at anytime.

HOW MUCH IS THE CLASS?

Feet First Class is $45, billed monthly. The number of classes per month will range from 3-5, depending on the number of weeks in each month.
